ボーイングは2013年4月19日、2012年に貢献したサプライヤーを表彰する「サプライヤー・オブ・ザ・イヤー(Supplier of the Year)」賞を発表しました。この賞は品質の高さ、納入期限の正確さ、デリバリー後の対応、価格、仕様変更への対応度など総合的に評価したもの。ボーイングは年間23,000社から500億ドル以上を購入しています。
2012年は全世界から約60%を超えるパーツを納品、601機をデリバリーしました。これは年間で最多のデリバリー記録となる415機の737、777の1,000機目、V-22オスプレイ ブロックC、P-8Aポセイドンなども含まれます。
